Take it with a grain if salt as I haven’t turned epoxy, but I’ve heard from others you can use metal if they are really sharp, but carbide is preferred. Madira Design on YouTube could probably answer for you. Good luck!

Did you happen to come across Klockit.com in your research? It looks like they have a variety of parts. Also, I’m not sure if it’s the style you’re looking for, but I saw that Etsy and Woodcraft had a few clock plans. Good luck!

I’ve always loved the idea of a dog in the shop! I feel like a lab or a retriever is the way to go here. Those working dog breeds seem to mesh with woodworking. Let us know what you decide. Good luck!

I believe @rexkrueger has a few YouTube videos on workbenches that can be broken down and build with construction grade lumber. I’ll see if I can find them for you.

Looks right at home in the shop. Sawdust on the floor don’t care!

Wow! Impressive how quickly you can crack these out. They are so cool!

I haven’t heard of Steelcraft, but a quick search on google does have some info. Some have suggested they are Fulton chisels branded as Steelcraft, and depending on the price they can be of good value for a full set. Are these yours, or considering buying?

I haven’t taken one on and don’t have any plans, but Andy Rawls did a YouTube video on one he built. It’s not a project build video, but you might get some inspiration and pick up some tips.

How is the miter station coming along?

I’ve researched the Supercell and love it for a small shop, but I’ve also read that it’s loud. Do you think the benefits outweigh the noise? I think I could tolerate the noise as I’d only run for a short period while making a cut, but the CNC is where I’m worried. The CNC runs for longer periods while I’m doing other stuff. I’ve considered a stand-alone dust collection for CNC, but that also has drawbacks.
