The Wood Whisperer – Bread Box – Marc Spagnuolo

Bread boxes are making a comeback! While they fell out of favor as consumers moved toward less healthful bread options with longer shelf lives, in 2019 people are all about FRESH healthy bread. And there’s no better way to store fresh bread than in a breadbox. The box provides temperature and humidity control to keep the bread from drying out too quickly or getting moldy. Our design will be a fun exercise in through mortise and tenon joinery, sculpting curves, hinge installation, and getting creative within the confines of a relatively small package.
