I’m active duty military and spend my weekends piddling around in a one-car garage that I share with 8 bicycles, storage from my previous 2-car garage, and gardening equipment. Since my last move, I’ve kept my table saw folded up in a corner and I decided to improve my hand tool skills. I sold my router table, desktop jointer, miter saw, and scroll saw. At first I thought I’d miss the power tools, but I like the quiet focus. I make boxes, chairs, tables, shelves…anything I have time to build.
