Last time, I built a custom floating walnut desk for my new office/studio, however, I still had a lot of work to do to get it move-in ready. The cost for the entire build far exceeded my initial budget, but who stays in budget?! First up, I needed to dial up some organization and storage and then tackle the biggest obstacle of them all - a horrific echo. When creating content and recording podcasts, audio is paramount, so I had to come up with a solution to create a room that didn't sound like I was talking from down in a well.
